Fashion Show Benefiting The Women's Home!

Being thrifty has never been so cool. Come and renew your style at The Women's Home fashion show and auction. This show brings a whole new meaning to "green chic" featuring styles from the closets of Houston's best dressed and fashions from The Women's Home Cottage Thrift Shop. Prepare for the summer season with a fashion show viewed atop a poolside runway at Venue Museum District. Recycled fashions will be auctioned off at the end of the night to benefit The Women's Home. Tickets are 35 dollars with advance registration, but only 45 dollars at the door! The show will happen on Wednesday, May 19th from 6-9pm at the Venue Museum District located at 5353 Fannin.

Heart Deco Promotes Heart Health!

Hearts will flutter!! Hearts have been created by several local artists in a multitude of colors and designs, they will line the walk along Westheimer this May and June in an effort to draw attention to heart health. Organized by Grayco Partners and the American Heart Association, the Heart Deco, this public art project will be unveiled at The Belle Meade at River Oaks.

The big reveal will happen on May 25th at 6 pm, at The Belle Meade at River Oaks, located at 2929 Westheimer Road. Come out and show your support for the American Heart Association and local artists!!

Houston's Ronald McDonald House Raffle!

To boost enthusiasm for this year's Houston's Ronald McDonald House bennial gala, the organization will raffle a brand new Lexus ISC 250. Race on over to the Highland Village Farmers Market for a chance to win the latest Lexus model; kindly donated by Houston area Lexus dealerships. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Houston's Ronald McDonald House.

Tickets can either be purchased at the Highland Village Farmers Market booth or online. The winner will be announced at the Houston's Ronald McDonald House gala on October 29.
