Giuliano Hazan to Cook for Kids at Ronald McDonald House
Giuliano Hazan, cookbook author and world-renowned chef, is bringing a little bit of Italy to our city and giving back to Houston by participating in a cooking session with the children of Ronald McDonald House, Tuesday, November 3. In town to promote the launch of his new book, Giuliano Hazan's Thirty Minute Pasta, Giuliano will make a special stop at Ronald McDonald House between book signings and cooking classes where he will show the children how to make one of his signature recipes from Giuliano Hazan's Thirty Minute Pasta. Giuliano Hazan's Thirty Minute Pasta is the fourth book that Giuliano has penned. It gives home chefs 100 scrumptious, healthful, yet hunger-satisfying dishes that can be prepared in a half-hour or less. He shares his repertoire of hearty pasta soups, fresh-from-the-market vegetarian dishes, plus meat and seafood sauces that take their cue from classic Italian cuisine. Since opening its doors in 1981, Ronald McDonald House has offered a home away from home to the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses at Texas Medical Center institutions.
