

Last week more than 100 arts lovers gathered at Vaughan Christopher Gallery, Houston's fine art gallery housing an exclusive collection of twentieth century masters, to celebrate the opening night of native Houstonian, Charlie Ferguson's Street Impressions, a collection of colorful, abstract photographs. Ferguson, recently back from Buenos Aires, has traveled the world capturing the beauty in street scenes. While munching on truffled grilled cheese sandwiches and pulled pork tacos, guests oohed and aahed over the riveting photos shot in Buenos Aires, India and Nepal. The emerging talent's exhibition is on display at River Oak's Vaughan Christopher Gallery through August 14.
